Reaching the 500,000 Japanese who are temporarily in the USA and Canada

Prayer Items
   1. Pray for the two RJC Conferences coming the fall:

Southern California RJC, September 12, at Gardena Valley Baptist Church

Midwest RJC Conference, October 9, 10, at Orchard EFC, Arlington Hts, IL. Check out their website at

http://rjcmidwest.wordpress.com/

  2. Berni Marsh, missionary in Shizuoka asked our prayers for So Chan (second grader) who had been running a high fever.

This is a late follow-up, which came in on July 25:

“He is out of intensive care and the pneumonia seems under control. Praise the Lord.  This is a great testimony to his young in the faith parents. They were so weary and beginning to feel God was going to take him Home. Their other son had

just come out of the hospital a few days before So Chan became ill.  Quite a difficult three weeks for this family!  We're so grateful for your prayers.”

 I’ve Been Praying

One of my important times each morning is to stretch my prayers around the world with the RJC Network. It is pretty easy to do since certain key people and events are always fresh on my heart. This last week it included Setsu speaking in Finland at the All-Europe Japanese Conference. The coming 5th Japan Congress on Evangelism that will take place September 21-24 in Hokkaido; an outreach picnic at Kapiolani Park; high school home stay students in Christian homes here in Washington; mini-mission trips in Nagano, Tokorozawa, etc. etc.

Let me encourage you to join me as we think about and pray for the many good people around the world who are reaching out to Japanese!

This is exciting stuff!  Thank you Jesus!

Reports

Daniel Kikawa included this in his 2nd Quarter Report: “About 24,000 God’s Fingerprints in Japan (#1, #2 and combined DVDs) have been distributed by Aloha Ke Akua and YWAM Japan. Most are viewed by more than one person and the film has been shown at numerous conferences and churches. We will only find out when we get to Heaven how many more have been re-produced and viewed by others. To me, it is like a big Christmas present waiting for us in Heaven because only then will we meet all of those who have been impacted for Christ by this project. What fun that will be!”   You can watch the video and also order on-line at http://akaministries.tripod.com/aloha/id2.html.
