  • Midwest ConferenceOn October 9 and 10 the first Midwest RJC Conference took place at Arlington Heights Orchard Church. It was one of the most blessed conferences that I have ever attended. I am writing this before the committee has gathered for an official evaluation, so these observations are only my personal ones:
    • The Orchard Church and the planning committee did an outstanding job in every way.
    • The attendance surprised us all with approximately 140 participating.
    • Networking was at a new high. People traveled for six hours or more, only to find that others from the same area were there also. People from Minnesota, Missouri, Tennessee, Michigan and elsewhere came and connected. This was one of the special highlights.
    • We were blessed to have the Chicago Japanese pastors attend on Friday night. Other pastors came from long distances. Nori Kanashiro, General Director of Canadian Japanese Ministries, also attended and indicated a desire to network more closely with RJC!
Rev. Sugita• Pastor Sugita from Ohio gave two excellent messages, and the seminar leaders did superb jobs. Lord willing, we will have these posted on the website shortly.
