International RJC Conference, February 18 (Pre-Conference)
If you are a leader in Japanese ministries, want to catch the lates strategic thinkng, be involved in cutting-edge planning with other RJC people, we invite you to participate in this year’s pre-conference time. This is an opportunity to connect with others who have the same burden to reach Japanese and Japan.
Also, this year we have three very important topics to handle. I think that this should be our best pre-conference time ever. You won’t want to miss it. When you register for the conference, you can also register for the pre-conference time. Register here. There will be a $15 registration fee for lunch and dinner.
During our RJC pre-conference we will demonstrate the STS method of teaching the truth of the Bible through storytelling. We will discuss how STS can be used as a tool for reaching Japanese students. We also want to see our students themselves equipped with the story-telling skills to share the gospel with family and friends when they return home. To learn more about STS go to Simply The Story.
Setsu Kuroda and “Japanese Christian Fellowship Network” are doing a fantastic job of training returnees, preparing them to return to Japan. The principles that you will learn will help you in this important ministry.
The Japanese government has launched Global 30, an initiative to recruit 300,000 international students to study at select universities in Japan by the year 2020. This represents a great opportunity for Japanese Christian returnees to reach the world that God will bring to Japan. Returnees can become leaders in the same kind of ministry that introduced them to Christ when they were studying overseas. We will discuss this Global 30 opportunity and create a training model for equipping returnees and churches to befriend and share Christ with international students in their own country. For further information about Global 30.
